CARTIVATOR Resource Management、トヨタグループ 15 社より支援受け、開発加速へ
日本発の空飛ぶクルマの開発活動“CARTIVATOR(カーティベーター)”を運営する一般社団法人 CARTIVATOR Resource Management (本部：東京都新宿区、代表理事：福澤知浩、以下 CRM)は、トヨタ自動車株式会社（本社: 愛知県豊田市、代表取締役社長：豊田章男）をはじめとするトヨタグループ 15 社より、今後 3 年間で総額4,250 万円の支援を受けることが決定したことをお知らせいたします。本支援はCARTIVATORの開発推進に活用いたします。
■若手技術者の挑戦、2020 年へ向けて開発を加速
CARTIVATORは、若手技術者・ベンチャー関係者を中心に、空飛ぶクルマの開発を行う有志の活動です。本支援は、トヨタグループが創業より掲げている「モノづくりは人づくり」という考えのもと、日本の若手技術者による次代のクルマ製作を支援するために実現したものです。本支援を受け、CRM は、2020 年東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会開会式での空飛ぶクルマによる聖火点灯を目指し、より一層の技術開発の加速に取り組んでまいります。

この度、本格的な試作機製作へ向けご支援いただくことが出来ました。これまで応援くださった皆様、そして新たにご支援くださったトヨタグループの皆様に厚く御礼申し上げます。本活動は、乗り物からもらった夢を次代に繋いでいきたいという想いの下、メンバーが業務外の時間を使い、「空飛ぶクルマ」という夢の乗り物を作ろうとするものです。聖火点灯の実現により、世界中の人々に夢と感動を与えるべく、日々開発を行っています。今回いただいた資金を基に、2018年末までに有人の試作機を完成させる予定です。ぜひ今後の私達の動きにご注目ください。そして一緒にやってみたいという方、仲間に入って夢を実現しましょう！

■ 空飛ぶクルマを開発する”CARTIVATOR”について

「モビリティを通じて次代に夢を繋ぐ」ことを使命に、日本発の空飛ぶクルマを開発する有志の活動。2012 年に発足し、現在は 2020 年東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会での発表、2025 年の第一モデル発売を目標に活動中。資金資材の管理及び団体の運営を CRMが担い、活動・開発は若手技術者・ベンチャー関係者を中心とする有志の参加者が進めています。

Flying Car from Japan to Light the Tokyo Olympic Flame!
CARTIVATOR Resource Management backed by 15 Toyota Group companies
General Incorporated Association CARTIVATOR Resource Management (CRM) (Head Office: Shinjuku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Tomohiro Fukuzawa) which operates “CARTIVATOR” – a development activity of the flying car from Japan have secured financial support of 42.5 million yen (approx. $375,000USD) over the next 3 years from 15 Toyota Group companies including Toyota Motor Corporation (Head Office: Toyota, Aichi, President: Akio Toyoda). This financial support will be used to promote CARTIVATOR’s development.
■Young Engineers Tackle Challenges, Accelerating Development towards 2020
CARTIVATOR is a flying car development activity that is run by a team of volunteer young engineers and professionals involved in startup scenes. One of the Toyota Group’s founding principle “Monozukuri wa Hitozukuri” (which translates to “Developing people through craft of making things”), has led 15 Group companies to support CARTIVATOR. With the funds received, the work is on to further accelerate engineering development to achieve CRM’s aim to light the flame with a flying car at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic/Paralympic Opening Ceremony.

On this occasion, we received support as we were working towards a full-scale model. I would like to thank all those that have supported us until now and to extend a heart-felt thank you to our new supporters from the Toyota Group. This activity is an effort to make a dream vehicle -a flying car that gives dreams which connects to the next generation, with members spending time working outside office hours. Development continues daily to realize the lighting of the Olympic flame to give dreams and aspiration to people all over the world. By end of 2018, we plan to complete a manned prototype vehicle with the funds received this time. Please be sure to pay attention to our movement from now. Finally, for those that want to be part of the team, come join us and let’s realize this dream together!
